Back by popular demand, the London Opera Company revives its critically acclaimed production of Wagner’s romantic tragedy, Tristan und Isolde. Featuring a full orchestra of professionals and the crème de la crème of London’s music graduates, alongside a stellar cast of singers with world-renowned expertise in Wagner, this promises to be an unmissable event for Wagner fans.

Since its inception in 2020, the London Opera Company has earned an enviable reputation for its world-class concert performances of Wagner’s operas. The orchestra is led by musical director Peter Selwyn, one of the UK’s most experienced opera conductors with a particular specialism for Wagner, having worked on multiple productions at Bayreuth and the Royal Opera & Ballet. The orchestra consists of a core body of top professionals alongside postgraduates from London’s prestigious conservatories and excellent non-professional players drawn from London’s top amateur orchestras.

The London Opera Company works with home grown world-class singers who perform regularly at some of the most celebrated opera venues, including the Royal Ballet & Opera, English National Opera, Opera North, and Longborough Festival Opera Company. Cast can also be seen regularly performing a range of repertoire elsewhere, including the BBC Proms and Glyndebourne Festival Opera.
