London Phoenix Orchestra returns to Smith Square Hall for a concert of popular classics headlined by Dvořák’s perennial favourite New World Symphony.

Award-winning violinist Fenella Humphreys is the soloist in Sibelius’ Violin Concerto – the last movement of which prompted Donald Francis Tovey’s famous quote likening it to “a polonaise for polar bears”. Liszt’s dramatic and atmospheric tone poem Hamlet completes the programme.
