Biography
My musical journey began at 7 years old when I joined a choir, but it was only at age 10 that I discovered the cello and fell in love with its incredibly heartwarming tone. I started studying at my hometown conservatoire in Rueil-Malmaison, where I especially enjoyed playing in a cello ensemble. I later entered the Paris Regional Conservatoire as well as a music-specialised high school full of passionate teenagers and teachers. This was a real turning point for me in deciding to pursue a musical career!
In 2019, I wanted to explore the classical music scene abroad and joined the Royal College of Music in London. I was fortunate to be awarded the Charles Ravel Scholarship and studied with my teachers Hélène Dautry and Alexander Chaushian. Throughout my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, I had incredible opportunities such as performing as a soloist and chamber musician at Wigmore Hall, as well as serving as section leader at the BBC Proms 2024 under Sakari Oramo’s baton. We even had the chance to tour Finland and perform at the Musiikkitalo.
During my time at the RCM, I was lucky to meet passionate chamber musicians and dear friends Esther Zaglia and Sofia Medina, with whom I formed the Aida Piano Trio in 2022. Together, we have performed various recitals across London, Italy, and Spain. We also took part in IMS Prussia Cove 2025 with Thomas Adès and recently won 1st Prize at the CIMCA competition in Spain. I look forward to continuing to share music and experiences with them in the years to come.
My love for orchestral playing really developed in the UK, where I had the privilege of working with conductors such as Antonio Pappano, Ryan Bancroft, and Jac van Steen at the RCM. I also attended sit-ins with the Philharmonia Orchestra under Marin Alsop. In addition, I have been a member of the Waterperry Opera Festival Orchestra for the past four summers.
